Great lunch today here at Baluarte Donostia! Love that part of the restaurant is only for those who are having a meal (as opposed to the happy hour drinkers!). We were able to get a table without a wait and had a divine meal.Atmosphere is amazing, black and white dominate with an eclectic lighting fixture array. Wow!!

We called in here recently by chance as walking by when it started to rain. It’s is very nicely designed inside and we felt very comfortable in there , thanks to the friendly staff and locals . We were so impressed we came back later in the evening to have a meal in the restaurant, the food was delicious and the service was polite and efficient. The meal as reasonable value for money , would recommend

We were surprised to enjoy truly phenomenal cheesecake here. If you sit outside, be careful of bird poo.

Love this place so much. We went here twice and both of us had the hake and the Osso Buco. Best food in the Basque region. Ignore any negative reviews-a truely great place.xxxxxxx

Stopped by for desayuno secundo and enjoyed an almond tarte and coffee con leche. Wonderful food, great coffee, and service with a smile in a very inviting room.We’ll be back!

An amazing restaurant with fabulous food and service. Started with a salad like no other. Followed by entrees of hake and octopus. Absolutely sublime. We finished with a cinnamon pear and pinenut ice cream. The owners are brothers. One works the back of the house, the other the front. We were lucky enough to have one of the owners as our server. With a bottle of excellent crianza, the total bill was 102 euro. It's definitely a deal for the quality.
